In the coming weeks, myGwork will go through an update. Our services will remain the same.
I’ve worked for Compass for 6 months and I have been really impressed by the commitment I’ve seen from all levels of the company to Diversity & Inclusion, particularly the authentic way in which senior leaders show genuine support and ally ship.
Our Employee Networks are instrumental in raising awareness, educating and supporting our colleagues. They have truly welcomed me into the family and it’s helped me to forge some great relationships, as I continue my journey and support Compass in ensuring everyone can be themselves at work.

"I love every mintue or everyday spending time with my work family and helping carve the way for a bright future for all!"
Looking back 15 years ago, when I first started my journey with Compass Group as an apprentice, I have had such a wonderful journey! I understand that this is my lived experience, but I am so very proud to work here. I currently Co-Chair our LGBT+ network- Pride in Food- and have always been encouraged by the business to be myself and contribute as much as I want.
I have learnt so much and improved my own unconscious bias through my journey on Pride in Food and in general D&I across Compass Group!
As soon as I started at Compass UK&I, I knew I wanted to join Pride in Food (our LGBTQ+ network). It allowed me to form instant connections with like-minded people from the get-go and feel part of a team, although I'd just joined the company!
Compass UK&I is an inclusive, diverse and generally a "people first" place to work. I've never been made to feel uncomfortable or shamed for being my true and authentic self; our individuality is well and truly celebrated.
Now 16 months on, I am co-chair of Pride in Food, a Lead Ambassador of the Ability network and an Ambassador of the mental health network, Within. It's true to say that Compass UK&I really does care about representation and inclusion - I've felt very much at home here!
