LGBTQ+ Students and Graduates Needed for Workplace Inclusivity Survey: Opportunity to Win Prizes Totaling £175


This month, myGwork is partnering with Highered to conduct research into the importance of inclusive workplaces for students and recent graduates. Students and recent graduates that take part also get the opportunity to win one of three prizes in vouchers (£100, £50 or £25 - or local equivalent).


With the goal of obtaining data uncovering how students and graduates feel about identifying as LGBTQ+ at work, and how this impacts their job searches, we hope to use this information to spread awareness and advise employers on how to authentically diversify their workforce. LGBTQ+ Allies are welcome to take part in the survey too, to submit their experiences on the treatment of their LGBTQ+ peers.

We are offering college and university students and recent graduates who participate in the study the opportunity to win vouchers totalling £175 (or local equivalent). Participants have until the 9th October 2023 to respond to the survey to be in with a chance of winning these vouchers. £100, £50 and £25 vouchers are up for grabs for users who complete the survey before the deadline


Following on from last year’s successful survey, we are interested in monitoring if there have been any particular developments in the past year, and if inclusive employers have completed the goals they set out to achieve by making their work environments a safer and more welcoming place for LGBTQ+ individuals. Our 2022 research found that over two-thirds (66%) of LGBTQ+ Gen Z university students and graduates would leave their job if they couldn’t be out at work, indicating that implementing diversity and inclusion methods is more essential than ever before.

Terms and Conditions


1. Eligibility  

Users are only eligible for the voucher prize if they complete the myGwork survey. myGwork employees are not eligible to enter this competition. Each user may only complete the survey once. Any fraudulent entries or attempts to circumvent the rules will lead to disqualification of that user’s entries. 

2. Prize Draw  

The three winners will be drawn at random from the eligible entries on the 10th of October 2023. The winners of the prize draw will receive one voucher each (£100, £50 or £25 or local equivalent). If you have won, myGwork will contact you to notify you of your prize. You will be considered to have won if you claim your prize within one week of receiving notice that you have been selected. myGwork is not liable for failure to receive notification of winning under any circumstances. In the event that a prize isn’t claimed or a winner is disqualified, myGwork will draw at random another winner from the eligible entries. 

3. Agreement to Rules 

By entering this competition, you agree to abide by these rules and the decisions made by myGwork, who retain sole rights to withdraw, refuse, or disqualify entries at discretion. All decisions are final and binding. 

4. Rights 

myGwork reserves the right to republish and share the name of winners selected from the competition. 

5. Terms and Conditions 

myGwork reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate these rules in the event of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond either myGwork’s control. myGwork reserves the right to disqualify anyone in violation of the terms. 

6. Disputes 

Any disputes arising under these rules shall be resolved between the two parties in accordance with the terms laid out in these rules. 

7. Privacy Agreement 

All entry data will be processed in accordance with GDPR rules. 

8. Acceptance and Agreement to Rules 

By entering this competition, or attempting to enter, the entrant is considered to have reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all rules stated herein and is bound by them.
