#OrgulloCultural de myGwork e It Gets Better: “La Visibilidad LGBTQ+ en el Ámbito de la Cultura en España y Latinoamérica”

Septiembre es el mes que la comunidad de myGwork se lo dedica a la cultura, una cultura que para ser inclusiva tiene que representar a la sociedad en su conjunto, ser un reflejo de su pluralidad y la singularidad de su población.

El panel se enfoca en la importancia de dar visibilidad a personajes LGBTQ+ sin estereotipos, así como la forma de abordar esta temática en diferentes medios, especialmente en el cine y otros formatos audiovisuales.

También buscamos conocer y compartir ideas de cómo las empresas y lxs profesionales que trabajan en ellas pueden ayudar a unir la diversidad e inclusión LGBTQ+ con la cultura, especialmente en el ámbito de España y Latinoamérica.

    Cristina Gaviria Beltrán is myGwork’s creative lead artist. In her role, she oversees the visual aspects of the company. She is also dedicated to questioning non-binary visions of sexuality and intimacy in a society which often still seeks to undermine them. She celebrates the liberty of her self-exploration and experimentation and being able to work at a place like myGwork, which acts upon this in all it offers in the corporate world. Her job involves not only a practical approach to visual language, but it is also modelling the behaviour she hopes to see and taking practical steps to act upon concerns and lead transformation.

    Niarchos is a proud latino gay man who completed his studies in Computer Science. Born in Brazil and raised in Uruguay, Niarchos experienced cultural intelligence from a very young age. After joining multinational German company SAP in 2010, his passion for equal opportunities led him to join Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) efforts as a volunteer. He was soon transferred to SAP’s headquarters for a one-year assignment reporting to SAP’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. During his stay in Germany, he was responsible for 100+ Employee Resource Groups and coordinated the development of the company’s first Diversity & Inclusion Learning Program, which was later rolled out worldwide and is currently part of the learning curriculum available to SAP’s 100K+ employees. Due to his efforts in support of inclusion and belonging, Niarchos later became the Head of Diversity & Inclusion for SAP Latin America & the Caribbean in 2015. Based in Brazil, he spearheaded the design and execution of the regional award-winning Diversity & Inclusion strategy. In 2016, the Financial Times selected Niarchos as one of the Future Global LGBT+ Leaders. Due to Niarchos’ leadership, in 2019 SAP earned 30 D&I awards, including Guia Exame de Diversidade (Brazil), WEPs (Brazil), Premios Flor (Argentina), Eikon (Global) and MarComm (Global). At SAP, Niarchos launched the Autism at Work in 5 locations, increased 5% women in Leadership, launched 30 Employee Resource Groups and helped SAP to become a well-know D&I leader in the Latin American market. In early 2020, Niarchos decided joined the Wikimedia Foundation as Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion leading a global team while in in 2021 he relocated to the Netherlands to serve Booking.com as Global Head of Employee Activation. In 2022, Niarchos joined Warner Bros. Discovery as the new Director of Equity & Inclusion LATAM. Niarchos loves travelling and is a huge fan of genealogy, building his family tree with over 4.500 people up to the year of 1200.

    David González Natal is a partner and Managing Director for the North Region of Latin America at LLYC, where he runs the firm’s operations in Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic. He is also a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee and heads up the Engagement Department at a global level. He has been responsible for the creative transformation of the company and has run flagship projects for BBK, BBVA, Coca-Cola, Ikea, McDonald’s, Campofrío, Telefónica, Multiópticas and Gonvarri, among others, winning more than 250 national and international awards for creativity, marketing and communication, including several awards at Cannes Lions, Ojos, Clio Awards, Andy Awards, Soles, etc. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Global CCO from ESADE, has worked at such media outlets as El Mundo and Cadena Ser, and was a member of the press department at Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and as chief coordinator at the agency Actúa Comunicación. He is also a storytelling and brand strategy lecturer at several universities and business schools, including Esade, IE and Carlos III. He is also the co-creator of the platform for the humanization of the Stayhuman organization and the trend portal Nxt in Mkt.

    Andrea is a director and creative producer originally from Venezuela but currently residing in Madrid. She is a founding member of the production company Amor & Lujo. Currently, Andrea serves as the head of development and executive producer at Suma Content where she has worked on the production of the second season of the series "Cardo" and "Vestidas de Azul." Andrea has also gained recognition for her work as a director. She directed the Venezuelan blockbuster film "Nena, Salúdame al Diego," which was showcased at the Málaga Film Festival. Additionally, she directed "Las Infantas," which was featured at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the award for Best Short at Seminci.
